While we'll never rival the biggest sites in terms of the sheer number of video cards we test, we try to give our readers a look at a wide range of cards, because ultimately, the most important decision you'll face is how much you want to spend, not whether you get one or the other card at a given price. With only two manufactuers of GPUs today (Nvidia and AMD), it's probably not all that surprising that the offerings are pretty evenly matched in each price segment. Therefore, in our reviews, we try to sample some of the best models from each generation, focusing on effective cooling, quiet operation, and good track records for quality.
